“Sometimes, the universe will sweep you off your feet—not to break you, but to plant you more deeply.”
Fall, with her golden hush and russet leaves, always invites us to slow down. But this year, she came with a wind I didn’t expect.
I had planned to stay where I was—living quietly, healing my body, working in solitude. The whisper of change was there, lingering softly at the edge of my awareness, but I wasn’t going to act. Not yet. Not until spring.
That mountain home was a sanctuary—a place I created for myself and for my adult children as we all healed in our own ways.
But the cosmos had other plans.
✨ A Cosmic Redirection
With Saturn in Pisces asking all of us to surrender what we can no longer carry, and with the October–November eclipses lighting up the areas of home, identity, and soul dharma in my chart… life stirred.
A lease ended.
A chapter closed.
And I moved.
Not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, spiritually.
It wasn’t forced.
It was aligned.
And still — it asked something of me.
It asked me to finally release a pattern I’ve held tightly for years:
The pattern of over-giving, especially to those I love most.
As a mother, this one is tender. I have walked beside my adult children through divorce after a 17-year difficult marriage, through the fires of illness, addiction, healing, and reclamation. I have shown up fiercely, again and again.
But somewhere along the way,
I disappeared inside my devotion.
This season, I heard the sacred echo:
It’s time to let go so we can all grow.
🍁 The Invitation of Fall
The trees do not cling.
They release with grace, trusting in the return of spring.
This is your invitation too.
This fall, I invite you to gather your breath and your heart and come back home to yourself.
To ground what is essential.
To release what is not.
To re-root in your soul’s wisdom.
Because grounding isn’t just about stillness.
It’s about sovereignty.
This sacred fall ritual was born from the very soil of my own life this past month. It’s simple, potent, and perfect anytime you feel scattered, untethered, or in transition.
🍂 Sacred Fall Ritual: Ground & Release
1. Create a Sacred Space
Light a candle. Place a small bowl of water, a rock, and a fallen leaf nearby.
Sit with your feet touching the earth or your floor.
2. Breathe with Intention
Inhale for 4…
Hold for 4…
Exhale for 8.
Repeat 3–5 rounds until your body softens.
3. Whisper What You’re Releasing
Hold the leaf and name (aloud or silently) the pattern, belief, or role you are ready to release.
Drop the leaf into the bowl of water. Watch it float away.
4. Anchor What You’re Rooting
Hold the rock in your hands.
Speak aloud what you are reclaiming for yourself this season.
Place the rock on your altar or carry it with you.
5. Sip Something Earthy
Make a warm tea with ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, or turmeric.
Let it root you from the inside out.
🌙 This Is Your Time
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
As we walk through this fall season together, know that you are not alone. I am walking with you — in rhythm with the cosmos, barefoot in devotion, letting the wind carry what no longer belongs, and anchoring into the life I was born to live.
Let’s ground. Let’s release. Let’s RISE. ✨
With love,
Carrie
